Hello everyone, my name is Syd_vicious, and I am very excited to be taking this EDCI 337 course with you all.

A bit about myself…

I am a 5th year honours student at UVic, and am on my last leg of my degree. When I am not studying, I am spending time with loved ones or experiencing new things.

What is your preferred mode of remote communication?

My preferred mode of remote communication is email.

What are your communication strengths?

My communication strengths are confirming that everyone is on the same page at each step before moving forward.

What are your communication weaknesses? Where would you like to grow?

My areas for growth within communication are setting better boundaries regarding non-working hours.

Do you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert?

I consider myself an ambivert – a little bit of both, depending on the context.

What time zone are you in?

I am in the PST time zone.

What time of day do you prefer doing academic work?

I prefer getting my academic work completed on weekday mornings, or individually in my own free time.

When you are upset do you tend to share this with others or keep it to yourself?

When I am upset, I share this in appropriate contexts. For instance, if I am aggrivated by the lack of effort put forward by a team mate, I will vocalize my stance.

What do you like about group work?

Sometimes, I meet some pretty cool people.

What don’t you like about group work?

I don’t like having my grade depend on anyone aside from myself.

What else would you like your team to know?

Respect above all else. Respect for each other’s time and efforts.
